The President of Turkmenistan met with heads of foreign companies

On Sunday, the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held meetings with the management of French construction companies Bouygues, Vinci Construction Grands Projets, Cifal, and oil company Dragon Oil, owned by the government of Dubai.
Businessmen who arrived in Ashgabat to celebrate Turkmenistan's Independence Day had the opportunity to personally congratulate the Turkmen leader on the significant date, as well as discuss prospects for cooperation and submit new proposals during the audiences.
"Turkmenistan is open to mutually beneficial partnership with leading foreign companies of various specializations, for this purpose a favorable investment climate and conditions for their fruitful activities are being created in the country," the head of state was quoted in the evening news release of Turkmen television.
Thus, in an interview with Martin Bouygues, CEO of the Bouygues French industrial group, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the contribution of this company in creating the urban appearance of the country, its capital and expressed readiness to explore new possible projects.
In turn, the Chief executive Officer of Vinci Construction Grands Projets, Patrick Kadri, expressed the desire of the French partners for a long-term presence in the Turkmen market. In a conversation with Gilles Remy, President of the Cifal Group of Companies, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted Turkmenistan's focus on innovative developments in the construction and modernization of infrastructure, including in sectors such as fuel and energy and communications.
The executive director of Dragon Oil, Ali Rashid Al-Jarwan, said that the oil company he represents is ready to expand work on the development of the Caspian shelf on the Cheleken contract territory, to continue to support the training of local personnel for the industry.
