Bidding on SCRMET: polyethylene, diesel fuel and cotton yarn became the subjects of transactions

On Thursday, September 15, 20 deals totaling $21.5 million and 18.5 million Turkmen manats were concluded at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.

Businessmen from Poland, the UAE and Afghanistan signed deals for the supply of a total of 5 thousand tons of T60-475-119 polyethylene worth over $3.6 million. The price of the goods decreased by 17.5% compared to previously concluded transactions and amounted to $730 per ton.

Business representatives from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 17 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for $15.9 million. The cost of petroleum products decreased by 6.8% compared to the previous auction and amounted to $939 per ton.

Businessmen from Turkey purchased at auction 572 thousand kg of cotton yarn for $ 1.8 million. In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 423.5 thousand kg of cotton yarn for 18.5 million TMT for manat funds.
