Special Representative of the People's Republic of China for Eurasian Affairs continued negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On Wednesday, Special Representative of the PRC Government for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui again paid a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, where he met with Vice Minister Vepa Khadzhiev.
The diplomats touched upon the topics of cooperation between Turkmenistan and China in the regional and international formats, noting the positive experience of interaction and support within the framework of authoritative associations, primarily in the UN, according to the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
Li Hui and Vepa Khadzhiev called the “Central Asia-China” dialogue platform an effective platform, the mechanism of which was laid down in 2020 and which is becoming an important area of activity for the foreign ministries of the countries of the region and the PRC, contributes to greater mutual understanding and openness.
The parties also considered models for further expansion of bilateral ties in the fields of energy, transport, logistics, culture and education.
The day before, on Tuesday, China's Special Representative for Eurasia met with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.
