Russia is ready to increase the volume of purchases of vegetables and fruits from Turkmenistan

Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan for Agriculture Annageldi Yazmyradov held a meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, will discuss with the head of the Agrarian Department of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev the development of bilateral trade cooperation.
According to Patrushev, the share of agriculture accounts for about 20% of the total volume of trade between Russia and Turkmenistan. He noted the interest in expanding the volume of supplies and in diversifying the product range, in particular, increasing exports of grain and fat-and-oil products, sugar and confectionery.
Also, taking into account the needs and capacity of the domestic market, Russia is ready to increase the volume of purchases of vegetables and fruits from Turkmenistan.
