It will be possible to vote in 30 foreign countries in the presidential elections in Turkmenistan

Citizens of Turkmenistan will be able to vote in the presidential elections in 30 foreign countries in which Turkmen diplomatic missions operate, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
In total, 41 polling stations have been formed abroad, it was reported during a meeting of Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov via video link with the diplomatic corps of Turkmenistan abroad.
Embassies and consulates of Turkmenistan currently operate in Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Belgium, Belarus, Great Britain, Georgia, India, Italy, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, UAE, Pakistan, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia Arabia, USA, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Germany, France, Switzerland and Japan.
Early presidential elections in Turkmenistan are scheduled for March 12, 2022. In total, the CEC registered 9 candidates for the highest state post. Three of them were nominated by political parties, six others by initiative groups of citizens.
