Three more candidates nominated for the post of President of Turkmenistan

The Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan has nominated its candidate for the presidency of the country. The decision was made at an extraordinary party congress on Monday in Ashgabat.
Babamyrat Meredov, director of the “Wepaly gurluşyk” Economic Society, was approved as a candidate for the highest state position.
In 2001, he graduated from the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction with a degree in systems engineering, worked as a teacher of computer science at the Pedagogical School of Dashoguz until April 2012. Since October 2012, he has headed the private construction company “Wepaly gurluşyk”.
At the same time, an initiative group of citizens, created in Ashgabat, nominated the vice-rector for scientific work of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports Khydyr Nunnaev as a candidate for the presidency.
He was born in 1977, a graduate of the Ashgabat Medical School named after Indira Gandhi and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, worked in various institutions of the healthcare system, headed the Department of Theory and Methods of Sports of the TSIPCS, then was appointed vice-rector for scientific work of the higher school.
And in the Dashoguz velayat Maksat Odeshov, the chairman of the committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi district, was nominated as a candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan.
Maksat Odeshov, also born in 1977, graduated from the Turkmen Agricultural University and began his career in his native district of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, where he was involved in party work and in 2013 became chairman of the district committee of the DPT.
