Processing industrial complex is going to be built on the Turkmen Afghan border

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a working video conference on Tuesday, discussed with government members the proposed construction of a processing industrial complex on the Turkmen Afghan border.

The proposal to create such an enterprise was voiced by the government delegation of Kazakhstan during a visit to Ashgabat. This issue was reported at the meeting by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, Deputy Prime Minister for Agroindustrial Complex Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyeva and Deputy Prime Minister in charge of trade and the private sector Chary Gylydzhov, who is the co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakhstan Commission on Economic, Scientific, and Technical and cultural cooperation.

The new industrial park is supposed to be located in the bordering Serhetabat district of the Mary region, where there is a road and rail infrastructure for the operation of the processing enterprise.

Berdimuhamedov instructed the vice-premiers, together with Kazakh partners, to work out the details of the future project, the implementation of which will play a significant role in the development of cooperation and cooperation ties and will create new jobs.
