The event will be attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, listed in the message.
Earlier, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that an informal summit of the leaders of the CIS countries is being prepared in person.
“Indeed, there is preparation for a personal meeting of the presidents,” said Peskov.
As Chairman of the Executive Committee - Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergei Lebedev told journalists, the next meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State will be held on October 14, 2022 in the capital of Kazakhstan - Nur-Sultan. At the same time, he did not rule out that informal meetings of the heads of the CIS states could take place before the summit in Nur-Sultan.
