In the International sea port of Turkmenbashi city the official opening ceremony of the exhibition of the goods of manufacturers of the Central Asian countries took place.

Delegations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan set their national stands in the exhibition hall of Avaza national tourist zone.

The regional expo was organised on the side-lines of the Consultative meetings of heads of the Central Asian states. The exposition is focused on demonstration of achievements in the sphere of innovative technologies and establishment of direct business contacts between the forum countries-participants.

At the exhibition open areas large-sized equipment and machinery are displayed.

Exhibits in the pavilion are divided into the basic thematic directions – energy efficient technologies, technologies in the oil and gas and chemical sphere, transport and logistics, information technology, telecommunication and telemetry, mechanical engineering and industrial equipment.

A number of manufacturers displayed their services and products in categories: innovative infrastructure, home appliances, agricultural machinery and units, consumer goods, textiles, foodstuffs and confectionery.

In the second half of the day the visit of leaders of the five Central Asian countries and high-ranking visitors is expected, and also exchange auctions are planned.
