On May 3, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov announced sudden military exercises.

Such events are held annually and allow to check the capability of all troops and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of military-tactical exercises, all military troops demonstrate their capabilities in performing combat tasks, which in practice makes it possible to verify the combat readiness of the Turkmen army.
