National e-mail and messenger have been launched in Turkmenistan

Turkmentelecom announced the launch of the first national email service and tmchat messenger . It occurred at an exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality and held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where today was dedicated to the country’s transport and communication complex.

On November 12, President Berdimuhamedov, at an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via videoconference, assigned Deputy Prime Minister Bairamgeldi Ovezov, who reported on the development of software for national e-mail by Turkmentelecom specialists and testing of the domestic online messaging system, to speed up the pace of work in this direction.

Starting from today, users can already use these products in their daily lives. Mail service is not inferior to other well-known analogues and can compete with them. The mail is available in three languages: Turkmen, Russian, and English. The design is made in the national style, the mailbox size is 1 GB, the service also includes a calendar, contacts, records and chat.

Tmchat messenger is a promising alternative to many international social networks. It is also available in three languages and can be used in laptops, netbooks, personal computers, tablets, smartphones, and even smartwatches.

In tmchat, one can chat, send voice messages, emoticons, photos, and make video calls. A news feed will help the user always keep up to date with the latest events in the country.

It is expected that the new domestic digital services will become popular among the population.
