In Turkmenistan, lessons on digital technologies and working professions will be introduced to the curriculum for general secondary schools of twelve years of education. Within the framework of these subjects, schoolchildren will be trained to correctly use information systems and learn any profession.
The idea of new training programs is to develop the skills that would be used by schoolchildren in the future.
In addition, training and production centers, where schoolchildren will be able to undergo training in working specialties in those areas that are most asked-for and in demand in particular region or city of the country, will be established. At the same time, the secondary education system will include more gymnasiums, schools specialized in advanced study of foreign languages and subjects on specialization.
These measures on development of school education in the country were discussed today at a meeting held by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
