KAMAZ Corporation plans to conclude a contract with Turkmenistan for the supply of about 1,000 vehicles a year. The media reports with reference to the TASS agency, which in turn refers to the company’s Director General Sergey Kogogin who made the remarks on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
According to Kogogin, “negotiations were held with Turkmenistan at the highest level, the contract is being prepared and signed in 2019.” According to the contract, Turkmenistan will purchase from KAMAZ Corporation, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of heavy trucks and diesel engines, up to 1,000 vehicles a year.
SPIEF is held on June 6-8. The government delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister Rashid Meredov takes part in the forum.
