KAMAZ supplied vehicles for the fire safety service of Turkmenistan

KAMAZ delivered 47 fire trucks on four-wheel drive chassis for operation to the fire safety service of Turkmenistan. This was stated by the Prime information agency with reference to the company.

Fire trucks are equipped with a tank with volume of eight cubic meters and are designed to deliver a combat crew, fire-fighting equipment, supply of water and foam concentrate to the fire site.

The special superstructure, installed on the KAMAZ-43118 chassis, was manufactured by the official partner of the auto giant – Ural plant of fire fighting equipment (the city of Miass).

Automotive special equipment was supplied within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed in 2019 between KAMAZ and the Turkmenavtotransport agency in order to strengthen cooperation in the supply and technical support of vehicles of this brand in Turkmenistan.

“The agreement stipulates the supply of KAMAZ vehicles for various purposes in the amount of 1982 units in the period from 2019 to 2021. This time, 47 out of 74 fire trucks were delivered. The equipment will be used by fire departments of the state fire safety service of Turkmenistan,” the company said.

Turkmenistan is the largest buyer of the Russian auto giant’s automotive equipment in the region. An extensive dealer network of the Kamsky Automobile Plant has been created in the country, and a training and service center “KAMAZ” has been operating in Ashgabat since 2008.
