Kawasaki Heavy Industries Japanese Corporation will hold an expert consulting of the natural gasoline plant management in Akhal.
According to the Resolution, signed today by the President of Turkmenistan, the “Turkmengaz” State Concern will sign a contract with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, which participated in the construction of this plant, on rendering consulting services for its management.
A large gas chemical complex that operates on GTL technology (gas to liquids) was launched in June 2019. The project, US $1.7 billion worth, was financed by Japanese investments and funds of the “Turkmengaz” group of companies. This is the world’s first industrial enterprise for the production of gasoline and is currently the only one.
Since July, there were started export deliveries of synthetic gasoline, which is characterized by high quality and environmental characteristics. About 50 thousand tons in the amount of more than US $23 million were exported to the foreign market.
The plant’s design capacity is 600 thousand tons of ECO-93 gasoline per year, 12 thousand tons of diesel fuel and 115 thousand tons of liquefied gas per year.
