In Turkmenistan polite policemen also joined introduction of the mask regimen

In Turkmenistan the mask regimen is introduced – on Monday the police also joined this action.

Policemen stop citizens without protective masks in streets and politely remind them that with a view of struggle against spread of infectious diseases, out of houses, it is necessary to put on protective masks.

The same is done by employees of traffic police. They stop drivers who operate a vehicle without protective masks and remind them of necessity of their wearing masks.

In the centre of Ashgabat on Monday evening it was possible to see bicycle patrols which slowly were driving on sidewalks. For the question of our correspondent, policemen explained that their task is observe order and warn those people who left masks at home and not forget about this action next time.

As far as known for ORIENT while the action goes without penalties, but it is not excluded that for maintenance of full mask regimen, law enforcement bodies will have to fine those who will ignore requirements of the medical authorities.

As for buying protective masks it is not a problem. Anyway, in places of the big congestion of people, mainly, in the Ashgabat markets trade in masks is organised. The most simple, disposable mask which is designed for a couple of hours, costs 1 manat. Reusable ones cost five manats.

Thus requirements to observance of a social distancing – 1,5-2 metres – are strengthened during visiting public places. It is recommended to citizens to replace, when it is possible, personal contacts by phone conversations or the Internet.
