The presidents noted the importance of intensifying comprehensive multilateral cooperation on the water agenda in accordance with the norms of international law and taking into account the interests of all Central Asian states.

The topic of interaction between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan within the framework of the International Fund for the Aral Saving was also discussed. It was noted that the countries of the region should join efforts to prepare the UN Special Program for the countries of the Aral Sea basin and implement the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund for Human Security Initiative for the Aral Sea region.
