The Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) for the thrid time elected businessmen from Adana Halil Avci for the post of chairman of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council, responsible for pursuing commercial diplomacy with Turkmenistan, Turkish mass media report.
Avci thanked all members of the Council for the trust they have shown and high estimates for his experience. He also assured that the efforts on bringing economic relations between two friendly and fraternal countries Turkmenistan and Turkey to a better point will be continued.
Turkish businessman recalled that Turkmenistan, the shining star of Central Asia, is rapidly moving towards becoming the logistics center of Central Asia under the vision of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.
Avci added that special relations based on mutual respect, cooperation and principle “One Nation, Two States” will be further developed.
Halil Avci is the head of the Halil Avci Group of Companies. This company, having over 41 of business experience in construction, energy, tourism, mining and agriculture and being one of the important representatives of Turkish contracting sector, implemented a number of major projects in Turkmenistan. In particular, the Group was engaged in construction of schools, housing, shopping malls, 5-star hotels, hospitals, museums, industrial and sports facilities.
