By tradition, the oldest military parade of Europe is received personally by the President of France.

In different regions of the country, local people take part in the traditional festival, watch the Firemen’s Ball and just spend an active day with the family. At the festivities end residents and tourists are to watch the colorful fireworks at the Eiffel Tower on the Champ de Mars.
