Today, the capital’s Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan opened an exhibition paintings and sculptures, dedicated specifically to the International Day of Older Persons celebrated on the first of October.
Exhibition’s visitors were able to get acquainted with works created in the 20th century, as well as with the works of modern authors.
One of the most striking exhibits of the exposition was a canvas by the People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Aman Kuliyev, depicting a daughter caring for an elderly mother. The faces of the women on the canvas convey to the viewer the special love that each of us feels for parents and children.
Painted in 1982, the picture “Council of veterans” by People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Shamuhamed Akmuhammedov, captures the discussion of news proceeding during a rural gathering.
The works of Ashir Odaev, Yevgeniya Adamova, Vladimir Pavlotskiy and Yakub Annanurov are always met with great interest among the exhibition visitors.
Merdan Kakabayev, a talented artist from Dashoguz, a regular participant of events held by the Museum, presented a wonderful landscape to the discerning public.
Also, art lovers noted the beauty of the “Yashuli” canvas (2017), created by the artist Nuryagdy Meredov.
On completing the exhibition, most of the works of art presented here will take their places in the large and diverse exposition of the Ashgabat Museum of Fine Arts.
