Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia to take part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS in Ashgabat

The governmental delegation of Armenia leaded by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan will take part in the session of the Council of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Heads of Governments to be held on May 31 in Ashgabat. Turkmenistan chairs the CIS this year.

The delegation also includes Shavarsh Kocharyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, and Albert Babayan. Deputy Minister Economic Development and Investment of Armenia.

At the last Astana Economic Forum, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin was invited to participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS.

During the coming meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Governments in Ashgabat, it is expected that a discussion of topical issues of economic partnership and a draft for an intergovernmental program of innovative cooperation for the period up to 2030 will be held in a broad format. The parties will also consider such areas as basic research, museum work.
