Cursor towards to talent: the results of artistic competition among schoolchildren are summed up in Ashgabat

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the creative competition among students of secondary schools of the country was held at the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan. The competition was aimed to provide a platform for beginners in art to release their abilities.

The jury selected 21 works in four nominations – painting, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry art. The originality of the idea, aesthetic advantages, and craftsmanship were assessed.

Govher Abdyyeva, 9th year student of the school No. 9 of Mary province – a young artist who dedicated her works to the connection between generations – became of the winners of the competition. It is her first success at the nationwide level, while she was the winner among students of the same age for last several years at the region level.

“Govher has inborn talent for drawing,” her teacher, Bayramgeldi Marlyyev said. “She worked for about a month to finish the picture she received the prize for. From time to time, I consulted her, and gave advises.”

All works presented by young talents deserve attention, as the desire of the authors to express themselves one can feel. Looking at some works, you might think that this is the work of the master, who has many years of experience.

The annual competition aimed to find talents among young generation and to promote decorative and applied arts, gathers talented youth from all over the country. Every year the number of applicants who will to take part in the creative competition increases, and the scope of work expands.
