The final concert of the Days of Culture of Saudi Arabia, held in the Turkmen capital and the city of Mary since April 18th, was held in Ashgabat, in the Mukam Palace.
Officials, who spoke to the public, noted that the current Days of Culture have caused unprecedented mutual interest. Both meetings of scientists and creative forums laid the foundations for further dialogue.
The artists, who came on the stage after the speakers, expressed the same hopes, but in the language of dance, music, song. Two eastern cultures – Turkmen and Arabic – were woven on stage into a fancy whirlpool.
They were similar and not similar to each other, complementing, enriching, and balancing. Arabic music was surprisingly combined with Turkmen dances. Turkmen folk chants echoed Arabian melodies and rhythms.
