China restores inland tourism at the expense of reduction of prices

500 tourist objects of China have reduced the prices for visiting for attraction of a great number of tourists. As informs Asia One, till the end of the year travellers can see many sights of the People’s Republic of China with discounts from 20 to 50 %.

Due to preventive measures on spread of coronavirus infection, the number of visitors during excursions was cut now by half. Besides, upon entrance to sites, they should put on masks, pass thermometry and show a special QR-code with the information on health.

Officials believe that only thanks to the flexible price policy the number of tourists managed to be bringing to half from last year’s indicators. So, from April till July at all 420 tourist sights of the province of Guizhou the government offered citizens free tickets. Now this right is kept only for physicians, the rest is provided a 50% discount, it is necessary to buy tickets only online. For attraction of visitors an operating time of tourist’s objects is increased and therefrom direct broadcasting is organized as well.

Due to the pandemic COVID-19, the Chinese tourist’s industry endured a serious crisis. A number of flights were cancelled and places popular with travellers were closed for quarantine. As soon as the disease peak was reached, vivacity in the country tourist’s market began to be restored. Holidays on the occasion of the 1st of May became the first mini-holiday after the pandemic and emergency reaction to coronavirus. In the People’s Republic of China about 115 million tourist trips were fixed, the volume of revenues from inland tourism reached about $6,8 billion. During May Day holiday Beijing accepted 4, 63 million local tourists.
