CCI of Turkmenistan will move to electronic document management

Key organizer of international exhibitions and conferences in Turkmenistan – Chamber of Commerce Industry – is seeking partners for the transition to electronic document management system.

This step will allow the organization to improve the procedures for interaction with foreign and national clients, simplify the process of coordinating organizational issues during major forums.

According to the resolution adopted in February by the President of Turkmenistan, all institutions and organizations of the country will have to switch to the electronic document management system before January 2021.

The legal basis for the creation and use of an electronic document management system is the Law of Turkmenistan “On electronic document, electronic document management and digital services” that has come into operation at the end of March.

Earlier, two of the largest industrial state structures in Turkmenistan – the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) and the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan – announced the beginning of the transition to the electronic document management system.

Digitalization of Turkmenistan’s economic sectors also opens up new opportunities for private IT companies. Their services are becoming more and more popular, which encourages the development of the national computer technology market.
