By the outcomes of the XIV Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States, a resolution is adopted

A two-day Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States, held in Ashgabat, completed its work. The participants adopted a resolution on further cooperation and expansion of cooperation.

The workers of science, culture, and education of the CIS countries, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of interstate structures, international organizations and public associations who participated in the Forum, highlighted three main areas of cooperation: support for joint humanitarian projects, cooperation in education and science and expansion of practice holding multilateral projects aimed at solving the tasks of the current Year of the Book in the CIS.

The participants emphasized the necessity to provide free access to educational platforms and applications related to the development of “electronic education” in the CIS countries. These and other issues of education were proposed to be included in the Agenda of the VI Congress of Teachers and Educators of the CIS Member States, which will be held in 2020 in Dushanbe.

Participants will be able to submit their amendments to the Resolutions and new proposals upon completion of the Forum in writing form to the Interstate Fund of Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS.

All delegates noted the high productivity of the discussions held and the active participation of representatives of the Commonwealth countries in the event.

– The forum was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding and passed in a flash. All the speeches were informal and emotional; the participants proposed specific tasks for discussion and joint ways to solve them, the presidium participants said.
