Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and Russia discussed the possibility of deliveries to the Astrakhan Region of yarn, cotton and textile products manufactured at enterprises in Turkmenistan, Russian regional media reported.
Last week, the parties talked about this at an online meeting. Representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Astrakhan Region and Turkmenistan exchanged views on the most demanded goods that could be profitable to export.
The Turkmen party proposed to consider the possibility of deliveries to the Astrakhan Region of yarn, cotton and textile products made at the country’s enterprises. This publication also reminds that the Astrakhan-Turkmen Council for Entrepreneurship is currently operating. It was established in May 2019. The council’s main goal is to develop bilateral business relations and projects. In 2019, the foreign trade turnover between the Astrakhan Region and Turkmenistan amounted to 5.6 million US dollars. Five enterprises with the participation of Turkmen capital operate in the region.
