The 13th session of Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation will be held in Ashgabat on May 23. It is informed by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The parties will discuss issues related to the bilateral partnership in trade and economy, including establishment of direct business contacts, opening of joint ventures in different spheres, expansion of export and import operations and increment of trade. The possibilities of participation of Japanese companies in large projects in the oil and gas and chemical sectors of the Turkmen economy will be considered.
In addition, the agenda of the meeting includes discussion of cooperation in construction industry, transport, communications and logistics sectors, in particular, in railroad industry, as well as supply of Japanese motor vehicles and opening of service centers in Turkmenistan.
Currently, development of number of draft documents on the above-mentioned directions in carried out under the preparation to the session.
