‘Gunesh’ is one of the oldest parks in Ashgabat. It was built in the 30s of the last century and is firmly associated with the townspeople with the nearby Russian Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin.
In the park, trade is carried out, attractions work and a playground is equipped. It is located on the Magtymguly avenue – one of the longest streets in the city.
Earlier, the Ashgabat park was reconstructed in the capital. Reopening in 2014, it began attracting thousands of visitors. Modern attractions were installed on its territory, places were equipped for holding various cultural events.
