An International Robotics Contest with a prize fund of $5 million has started in Abu Dhabi

An International Robotics Contest has started in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the WAM News Agency reports. During three days, teams from different parts of the world will compete in four categories with a prize pool of $ 5 million.

According to the organizers, about 32 teams are competing in usage of artificial intelligence to capture unmanned aerial vehicles, automate construction, fire extinction, and respond to emergencies.

The three-day competition is organized in parallel with the 4th edition of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition and the Simulation and Training Exhibition and Conference at the Abu Dhabi national exhibition center.

The jury consists of world-famous scientists and outstanding researchers in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence.
