American Councils offers young people from Turkmenistan to take an intensive pre-university course

The American Councils invites young Turkmen citizens who want to get higher education in the United States to take an intensive program Prep4Success aimed at preparation for successful admission to universities in the USA.

What is Prep4Success?

This is an 18-week preparatory course that will help prepare for the TOEFL/ SAT tests, as well as arm yourself with basic academic reading and writing skills using analytical thinking approaches. All these tools are necessary for successful admission to an US college or university.

What are the requirements for potential Prep4Success participants?

The program is designed for high school graduates, as well as for those having no Bachelor’s degree yet and not enrolled in a university either in Turkmenistan or another country.

Candidates must have an intermediate/advanced level of English.

How to apply for courses?

The package of documents is accepted only in electronic format and should be emailed to: associatep4s@americancouncilstm.org The list of documents includes:

• Completed Prep4Success Program Application with essay in PDF format. Download here.
• Secondary school academic transcripts;
• One signed academic recommendation letter in English;
• Resume;
• Copy of domestic passport;
• Recent passport-size photo.

The deadline for submitting applications for participation is 19 January 2020 until 5:30 pm.
