Receipt of documents from applicants for 2020-2021 academic year takes place at universities and special professional schools of Turkmenistan from July 6 to 19.
Entrance exams to universities and institutes of Ashgabat and regional centers will be held from July 22 to August 11, and pedagogical, medical professional schools and cultural colleges – from July 22 to 29.
To file documents to the capital’s universities, applicants do not have to come to Ashgabat. Admissions offices have been sent to all regions to explain to future students the nuances of future studies, the procedure for filling out documents and familiarizing with the format of passing exams.
In secondary vocational schools of financial and economic orientation and self-supporting lyceums and colleges, where training is conducted on a paid basis, the receipt of documents will begin on August 8, and entrance exams will be held from August 11 to 15.
Same as last year, keen demand is expected for technical specialties, related to IT, programming, computer technologies, etc.
In Turkmenistan, it is also planned to use all the opportunities of distance education on digital platforms. Even now, specialized departments are considering a plan to organize secondary and higher education remotely. In a short time, citizens with disabilities will be also able to receive education remotely.
