A new plant for production of gasoline makes its first deliveries

In Ahal province, a plant for production of production of gasoline from synthesis gas was commissioned. President Berdimuhamedov cut a symbolic ribbon along with high-rank guests from Japan, whose companies took part in the construction of an innovative industrial enterprise.

Having acquainted with the technologies of deep gas processing and its conversion into gasoline, Turkmen leader gave the start to the first deliveries of gasoline and LNG, which will be transported from the plant by rail and special trucks.

As it became known, 60 tons of this product from the first deliveries will reach Afghanistan as humanitarian aid.

In addition, Bulgaria, Greece, and Romania have already purchased here gasoline. Other European countries confirmed their interest as well.

On the way to Ashgabat, Berdimuhamedov made a stop at one of petrol stations to fill up his car with ECO-93 synthetic gasoline that complies with the EURO-5 standard.
