180 participants from 38 countries participate in the first Turkmen International Photo Competition

Acceptance of works for the first Turkmen International Photo Competition passed the equator. As ORIENT was informed in the Turkmen photo club Ferula, which is the organizer of the competition, 180 photo fans from 38 countries have registered to participate in the competition. Of these, 17 participants are from Turkmenistan, and our compatriots living abroad also participate in the contest. Registration of participants continues. If you have any questions, please call +99312 92-51-64.

I must say that the jury will have a difficult job, as only to date the participants of the competition have sent about 2,400 works. The jury says that based on the experience of holding such reviews, one should expect that the number of participants in the photo competition will increase by another 50 people, which means that the jury will have to evaluate about a thousand more photos.

Under the terms, the acceptance of works ends on October 10th. And on October 20th, the jury will announce the winners of the first Turkmen international photo competition.

ORIENT previously reported that the competition, organized by the Turkmen photo club Ferula, is being held under PSA (Photographic Society of America) and FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art). Entries are accepted in four nominations – free color photography, free black and white photography, travel and street photography. Contestants will compete for 72 international awards from FIAP, PCA, IS and Ferula Club.

We are looking forward to the final and invite our readers to get acquainted with some of the photographs sent to the competition.
