Uzbek MFA: Reports of possible Taliban attacks on Central Asian countries are outrageous

Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov believes that the reasoning that the Taliban movement intends to attack the countries of Central Asia is outrageous.

Kamilov drew attention to the fact that in the media of a number of other states they spread information that Central Asia will soon be subject to serious attacks by the Taliban, clarifies gazeta.uz.

According to the publication, the Minister stressed the absence of any evidence of the Taliban’s intention to come to Central Asia.

“The reasoning that the republics of Central Asia will be subject to these attacks is not just disagreement, but outrage,” said Kamilov.

The Uzbek Foreign Minister stressed that “for 25 years now he has heard that the Taliban will go frontally to Central Asia, troops have gathered in the north, and so on.”

It would not be an exaggeration to say that the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry expressed the opinion of all residents of the Central Asian states regarding catastrophic forecasts about Central Asia. Every year, foreign experts predict that the Afghan Taliban opposition movement will go to war with the neighboring countries in the region. And each year, these forecasts fail successfully.

They foretold Central Asia the Arab Spring, also in vain. As one of the characters in the works of Fazil Iskander would say, these predictions are the most authentic Airtrest! Yes, we, in fact, treat them that way. After all, we understand that on the other side of the border live the same people who, like everyone, want a peaceful sky over the head of their children.
