On January 7-10, the Anau Sports School will host the Ashgabat Kickboxing Championships in low kick that to gather the athletes born on 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

On the first, entry day, January 7, the fighters of the same weight category had mandatory weighing procedure. Then, on the draw results, the contestants received sequence numbers, which will remain until the end of the competition.

On Friday, February 8, preliminary fights, which to determine the semifinalists of the tournament, will take place. The Ashgabat Kickboxing Championships Final will be held on February 10.

Halmurat Izmaylov,  President of  Turkmenistan Kickboxing Federation, two-time European champion and World Cup winner, shares about the prospects for young kickboxers:

– The athletes can became the members of the youth national team of Turkmenistan; over time, the best will be selected to participate in international tournaments under the Turkmen flag. The most important thing for athletes as of now is to compete more and gain necessary practice.

In sports, something like this can happen as someone up to 12–13 ages, or even up to 16 ages, does not develop, and then comes out at 20 ages to become an Olympic champion at 21 age.

Competitions help to develop not only sports or fighting skills, but also to contribute to improve moral and human qualities. During the training process, it seems that everyone can be the master of sports in future, but only self-motivated person overcoming difficulties can truly develop the potential.
