After Asian Cup, National Team of Turkmenistan is 9 positions down in FIFA Ranking

As of February 7, 2019, FIFA World Ranking of national teams released.

Compared with the December rating, the national team of Turkmenistan lost nine positions and ranked 136th.

В зачет рейтинга идут только официальные матчи, с декабря 2018 года туркменистанцы провели три встречи на Кубке Азии, в которых не смогли заработать очки в актив.

The national football teams are ranked based on their official game results. Since December 2018, the Turkmen team held three matches at the Asian Cup, in which they could not earn points on the asset side.

The next international competition where Turkmenistan can improve its position will be the Qualifying round to the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar. During the period of June 2019 – November-December 2021, the national team of Turkmenistan will compete with other 42 Asian teams for the right to participate in the World Cup Finals.
