The universities of Turkmenistan – the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, the International University for Humanities and Development and the Turkmen State Institute of Energy – will take part in the project “Modernization of Higher education in Central Asia through new technologies” within the framework of the European Union Erasmus+ programme.
The project is intended to support the modernization of the higher education system in Central Asia through the introduction of new technologies. The work that to be carried out within the framework of this project is come close with the Concept of the development of the digital economy of Turkmenistan, aimed at transformations in the industrial sectors, the education system and other areas.
University of Ruse Angel Kanchev, Bulgaria, the initiator and coordinator of the project, would share with higher education institutions of Turkmenistan its concept on adapting the educational system to the digital generation through the active use of innovative educational technologies, as well as the draft program on digital education transformation.
In cooperation with their foreign colleagues, the participants will work on the nationalization of the program for Turkmenistan. In addition, according to the model of the University of Ruse, a Center for Innovative Educational Technologies and the “educational halls of the future” with web sources to publish information about the activities of universities, news, educational and practical materials, etc., will be created in each partner university.
In addition to Turkmenistan, universities of other Central Asian countries – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be involved into the educational project.
