Turkmen-Kyrgyz cooperation agenda discussed in the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan

The current directions of Turkmen-Kyrgyz cooperation were discussed at a meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with the Deputy foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan Dinara Kemelova, who visited Ashgabat in the framework of participation in the EU-Central Asia political dialogue.

Among the issues discussed is the organization of visits at the highest level, says foreign ministry of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the information, the parties are also preparing for the next meeting of the intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and humanitarian cooperation and Trade-investment session.

In this context, the parties discussed prospects of expansion of bilateral trade, harnessing of transport and transit opportunities offered by Turkmenistan and the development of transport communications between the two countries.

The enhancing conomic relations with the focus on improving the legal framework of export-import was also discussed later during the meeting of Kyrgyz delegation with the Deputy foreign minister of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev.

The parties spoke for further development of cooperation in the field of energy, education and tourism. In the field of transport, special attention was paid to the creation of conditions for cargo carriers from both countries.
