Turkmenistan prevails in Georgian import of petroleum products

In June 2018, the largest volume of gasoline and diesel fuel to Georgia was imported from Turkmenistan – 21.1 thousand tons that is 24.3 percent out of total imports. In addition, the list of suppliers includes Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Business Georgia reports.

In June of this year, imports of gasoline and diesel fuel to Georgia amounted to 86.9 thousand tons, which is 1.9 thousand tons more than in June 2017.

In total, in January-June 2018, Georgia imported 516,800 tons of oil products, which is 60,000 tons more than the same period last year. Of which, for the first 6 months of 2018, gasoline imports amounted to 256.7 thousand tons, and import of diesel fuel – 260.1 thousand tons.
