On July 1, 2018, the first competition for the Federation Cup of electronic sport of Turkmenistan (TNeSF) will start. The competition will be held within the framework of the Dota 2 cyber sport discipline. The prize fund is 3,500 TMT.

The recently registered Federation of Electronic Sports of Turkmenistan is developing activities in the field of promoting cyber sport in the domestic arenas. The first significant national tournament will be the online tournament for Dota 2 compositions 5 by 5.

Registration takes place from June 6, 2018 on the official website of the federation website tncpa.info or in groups TNeSF in social networks.

Also on June 14, under the auspices of the Valve computer game developer, qualification selection for The International 2018, the largest annual Dota 2 tournament, will start. The prize fund of the tournament will be $ 10 million.

The main part of the tournament will be held in Vancouver, Canada from August 20 to 25, 2018. It will include 16 best cyber teams of the world.

Another significant event will be the participation of the Turkmen team in cybersport in the XVIII Asian Games, which will be held from August 18 to September 2 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang. And although, like in the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, in Indonesia, e-sports will be introduced beyond the medal standings, its growing popularity and the professionalism of the players attest to the well-deserved recognition provided to this sport.
