The creations of Vysotsky to be presented in Ashgabat by Russian theater

On June 13, the actors of the Russian Youth Theater “N.L. Skorik’s Workshop” will perform at the National Drama Theater named after Alp Arslan with the performance “Hello, Vladimir Vysotsky”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding Russian poet, theater and cinema actor.

In the play, the immortal poems of the poet, his letters, the statements of famous writers about outstanding lyric poetry will sound under musical accompaniment.

Youth Theater “N.L. Skorik’s Workshop” was created in 2015 on the basis of the graduate course of the theatrical and directing faculty of the Moscow State Institute of Culture.

This is the first of its kind professional theater at the Institute, which specializes in modern interpretation of the famous works of world literature and their popularization. The artistic director of the theater is the director, the laureate of the Chekhov Prize and the Honored Artist of Russia Nikolai Skorik.

The repertoire of the theater includes 12 productions, including “Cherry Orchard”, “Snow Maiden”, “Molier”, “Bat”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Lucky” and others.
