Exhibition “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road. Touch” opens in Moscow

An exhibition “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road. Touch” is arranged in the branch of the State Museum of the East – the Moscow International Center of the Roerichs.

The exhibition features works by such artists of Turkmenistan as Kossekmurad Nurmuradov, Kurbangeldy Kurbanov, Berdyguly Amansakhatov, Jumadurdy Khodjaniyazov, Aynagozel Nuryeva and others. In their works, they harmoniously intertwine modern reality with the secrets of the Ancient East, forcing a person to dip into the atmosphere of this historical route.

In addition, visitors will be acquainted with the works of Russian painter Alexander Michri, who for many years worked in Turkmenistan and brilliantly conveyed the splendor of this extraordinary land in his works.

Mikhail Pereplesnin, the organizer of the exposition and the editor-in-chief of the international magazine “Turkmenistan”, gave such description to the acquaintance with the art of sunny Turkmenistan: “It’s just a small touch to an incalculable treasury of the values of Turkmen culture. However, sometimes easy-touch is enough to be captured by the variety of colors and flight of the unrestrained imagination of the artists of the brush … “

Earlier, a photo exhibition “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road” was held in St. Petersburg.
