Turkmen judoists will compete for the Grand Prix in Morocco

From 9th to 1th of March the Moroccan city of Agadir will host the prestigious judo tournament of the Grand Prix series, which will bring together over 280 athletes from 43 countries.

The strongest judokas from Turkmenistan, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Canada, Algeria, Egypt, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Puerto Rico and many other countries will demonstrate their abilities in this spectacular form of struggle.

Our country will be represented by 8 wrestlers – Gurbanyazov Batyr (60 kg), Danatarov Hoshgeldi (73 kg), Hodzhamuhammedov Batyr (100 kg), among girls – Nazarova Aziza (48 kg), Babamuratova Gulbadam (52 kg), Amanova Ainur (52 kg), Nurdzhavova Rushana (57 kg) and Mammadova Feride (70 kg).

Many of them are prizewinners of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, winners of the World and Asian championships.

Agadir 2018 is the second Grand Prix of the season after the sports tournament in Tunis in January this year. The Grand Prix cycle is resumed after two Grand Slams, which took place in such European cities as Paris and Dusseldorf.
